Paccar Experience Center
Paccar Inc., a global technology leader in design and manufacturing for the truck industry, had an ambitious goal to launch a state-of-the-art interactive experience center for their brand new distribution center.

The Renton Parts Experience Center is home to five digital devices, each with a story to tell. Four of them spotlight different chapters of Paccar’s global journey, and the fifth is used to run the show.
Global Distribution Network kiosk
This experimental exhibit shows off Paccar’s global distribution network. The custom-built kiosk features an interactive touchscreen and behind it, a printed world map backdrop comes to life with glowing dots from a projector, lighting up locations around the globe.
The Paccar Timeline
Large touchscreen monitors showcased the company’s history through a series of pivotal events. Users could navigate the timeline by swiping or tapping on individual milestones.
Heavy consideration was taken into how users interact with large touchscreens with controls placed in an optimal area for people of different heights and reach.
Interactive Facility Model
The table monitor included a side panel featuring information about different facility areas and the tech they use. Below the acrylic model, a looping 3D animation brought the facility to life, complete with swaying trees, rippling water, and moving trucks.
Experience Control Tablet
Tour Guides control the four additional experiences using the Experience Control Tablet. With it, they can adjust visual branding to match the visiting company’s division, lock or unlock individual experiences, and manage the content displayed on experience.
